Comprising sketches of the lives of Hidalgo, Morelos, Iturbide, Santa Anna, Gómez Farias, Bustamante, Paredes, Almonte, Arista, Alamán, Ampudia, Herrera, and De la Vega. Ilustrado con siete retratos, cuatro vistas y una lamina de tipos mexicanos. Encuadernado en pasta dura, en piel. Excelente cronología de los jefes militares, un recorrido para entender acciones militares entre 1810 y 1847. El autor un conocedor de la lengua española, advierte al principio algunos términos que en el español que se hablaba en México, no tenía nada que ver con algunas traducciones al inglés.
